On Wednesday 25 March, FPATT hosted an inclusive clinic session for Deaf and Hard of Hearing youth, in partnership with WeCare.
For many Deaf individuals, this was their first time accessing sexual and reproductive health services. For others, FPATT remains one of the few places where care is accessible, safe, and easy to understand.
Services included STI testing, HIV testing, and health education delivered in accessible formats, ensuring that communication was not a barrier.
This initiative forms part of the ongoing partnership between WeCare and FPATT, focused on improving equal access to health services for Deaf persons across Trinidad and Tobago.
Everyone deserves care they can understand.
